Most clients swim comfortably at 28–32°C. The right set-point depends on your pool volume, how much sun it gets and whether it is covered. We set it up on commissioning so it holds a realistic temperature efficiently.
Size is based on water volume, surface area, exposure and how quickly you want the pool to heat. We calculate it on site rather than guessing from the pool’s length — an oversized unit costs more to buy and an undersized one never keeps up.
A standard installation is usually completed in a day. If pipework, a new base or a dedicated electrical circuit is needed, we’ll tell you upfront what it involves and plan accordingly.
It is strongly recommended. A cover holds the heat in overnight and dramatically reduces running time, especially in winter. It is the single biggest thing you can do to keep heating costs down.
Yes. We repair and service all common heat pump makes and models, not only ITS units. You get honest fault-finding and a clear quote before any work begins.
